Before heading to Tomorrowworld 2014, our inaugural members determined that there had to be some way to communicate their whereabouts without any cell service. Together, they created the first ‘Grindr’ flag. With black spray paint and a yellow cloth, our first ever totem was created! The following year, our group flag for the next 5 years would debut! Affectionately referred to as the Grindr Flag, our little yellow totem would begin to travel the world. From Tomorrowworld, you could quickly find the flag at more festivals including EDCLV, EDCO, Moonrise, Sunset, Electric Forest, Imagine, Dreamstate, ABGT, and even Tomorrowland. Each gathering brought more and more friends, ravers, festival folk, and members to our community. Since our inception, we have grown from being a small, rag tag group of folks to encompassing communities across continents. From LA and the West Coast to Chicago and the Midwest, through Boston, DC and the Northeast, and into our World Headquarters located in Charlotte, our reach started to extend from the USA and into Europe as well!
